It’s pretty much common knowledge that coffee, if taken as a drink, is not very good for your skin. It’s pretty much common knowledge that coffee has a drying agent in it – and its quite true. But, did you know that coffee, if used topically as a scrub, is actually good for you? This is because of the caffeine content. The caffeine goes to work on the surface of the skin, to get the collagen and blood stimulated and flowing. So, yes, coffee is actually good for your skin. That’s the very reason why I have invented our own skin scrub that is very high in the caffeine levels. The idea is that you wet your skin in the bath or shower, then apply the scrub, and leave it on your skin as long as you can allowing the coffee/caffeine to work its magic.
