Everybody knows that drinking water is good for your internal organs, unfortunately people tend to overlook the benefits to the external organ the skin. It’s a fact that your body is made up of 60% water, so drinking around 8 glasses a day will enhance the body’s digestion, circulation, digestion, and excretion. Of course, you may need more than the recommended 8 glasses if you’re always in the gym or on a hot day. You’re skin is like any other organ of your body. Unfortunately, the skin is the last organ of the body to receive the benefits of drinking water, so you wont see the benefits over night. After all, the skin is the largest organ of your body. If your skin isn’t getting enough water, it will become dry, flaky and tight, making it more prone to wrinkles. Unfortunately, coffee has a drying agent in it, so the benefits of drinking the water found in the morning cups may be defeated. Personally, I like to make an ice-tea from the specially made iced-tea packs and drink that when I’m thirsty, instead of the coffee-fix.
